As a community that is centered around philanthropy and socializing, the American Society of São Paulo recognizes that Covid-19 needs to be fought by working together as citizens of the world. In light of the continued developments of the spread of the coronavirus, we are postponing our 2020 gala event, which was to be held on Saturday, May 16.

The tentative reschedule date is Saturday, September 18, 2021. Those who had already secured tables should have received a personal outreach from our Gala Chair, Richard Wegman. All 2020 gala table purchasers have been given the option to hold their tickets, locked in at the current 2020 price, for the next gala. Otherwise, arrangements have been made to issue a refund.

Should you have bought a table and not been contacted yet, please let us know.

We appreciate your support of the American Society. Together, we can find ways to continue to help our greater community of São Paulo, even under the current circumstances. The children's non-profit organizations that benefit from our gala and other fund raisers will still need our help during these uncertain times. Stay up to date with our initiatives to do so through our website, and communications through email and social media.
