Compliance, Ethics and Conduct

The American Society of São Paulo (AmSoc) is committed to promoting an environment guided by ethics, respect, integrity, and responsibility in all of its institutional relationships. As a non-profit civil association, AmSoc works to connect people, cultures, and stories by promoting social, cultural, and sports events, encouraging integration with Brazilian society, and supporting philanthropy and volunteer work.

Our commitment to ethical conduct guides the actions of directors, board members, staff, volunteers, members, partners, suppliers, and all other stakeholders with whom we interact. More than simply complying with internal rules, this commitment seeks to preserve trust, transparency, and the organization’s reputation, ensuring that our activities remain aligned with AmSoc’s values and principles.

Ethics and compliance are essential pillars for building and maintaining a safe, respectful, and responsible environment. For this reason, AmSoc encourages the prevention, identification, and proper handling of situations that may violate its Code of Ethics and Conduct, internal guidelines, or applicable legislation.
