🌟 Join Us for am AmSoc Volunteer Morning! 🌟

We're excited to invite you to a special volunteer event with 👐 Mãos de Maria 👐 at the G-10 in Paraisópolis!  ----- The G10 of the Favelas is a coalition of Social Impact Entrepreneurs from the favelas who have come together to drive the economic development and empowerment of their communities, with the goal of advancing both economic and social progress in these urban areas.

📍 Location: G-10 (Parking Lot), Rua Itamotinga 100, Paraisópolis

What's Happening:

Our AmSoc volunteers will work as a team to prepare 400 meals for those in need. This event is extremely well organized with the Mãos de Maria chefs preparing the food and AmSoc volunteers putting the food into marmitas/dishes for distribution🍲

Discover the impactful work of Mãos de Maria and G-10 in combating hunger and learn more about their innovative social initiatives in the area. This is a great way to safely enter into Paraispolis, learn about the community and make an impact.

Important Info:

Who Can Join:

All AmSoc Members (children 7 and up are welcome but all children must be accompanied by an adult).

What to Bring: A bag of rice and/or beans.

What to Wear: Comfortable shoes for a 10-minute walk, and avoid sleeveless tops. Disposable caps and aprons will be provided for meal prep.

Safety: The event takes place inside the G-10, a secure community space in the edge of Paraisopolis with secure parking on site. It is recommend to come by car not Uber or taxi .
