Providing More than Happy Mouths

Ever since I was a child, I loved to visit my dentist. Until recently, many patients used to come to my clinic scared.

My focus as a dental practitioner is to welcome patients from ages 1 to 99, to make the experience so good that the kids love to come here and play, and the adults can feel calm when they are with me.

The ability to handle different emotional situations is a result of daily practice; the Winnicott Institute in São Paulo, where I took a course with psychologists, helped me improve this skill.

The focus of my clinic is health care and what is best for you now as well as when you are older. I'm a specialist in functional maxillary orthopedics and pediatric dentistry; I’ve taken more than 150 courses. We are able to offer all kinds of treatments at my clinic.

When you are an expat, there is a blending of culture and manners. Here, we speak Portuguese, Danish, and English.

I finished Dental School at University of São Paulo (USP) in 1992. In 1995, I was granted the opportunity to participate in research—and subsequently publish an article—at the Department of Cariology and Endodontics in the School of Dentistry at the University of Copenhagen.
